  1. All dogs are trainable. Dogs don’t need to be really energetic to learn agility or other dog sports. They just need someone who understands how to train dogs.

    1. They need to know how to train that dog, I’m not a dog trainer but I’ve trained over 50 dogs do do at least one new thing, every dog learns a little different 🙂

    2. All dogs are certainly teachable! Some dogs are more likely to excel at high energy dog sports. But more importantly, some dogs are more likely to ENJOY or not enjoy dog sports. Much like some humans love to do gymnastics and others don’t! HA! Great point for sure! Thanks!

  2. Great training videos on this channel! Really simple to get to grips with. I was watching one of the other video’s starring Jampa (I think it’s the correct name) the Pitt Bull breed/type and some of the myths are just unbelievable. Good owner=Good dog, IMO.

I do want to add that I’ve owned two Rottweilers, a Staffy cross Collie and a Doberman over the last 10+ years with no convictions to my name! Haha! <3 All were very loving with no signs of aggression and are missed dearly.

I wonder if you could cover ex-racing Greyhound myths sometime? It would be so beneficial to the breed, especially here in the UK. I own a totally daft, English Coker Spaniel at the moment, he's just ridiculously adorable!

    1. Welcome! I do have to say, depending on your rescue- do the research as they have all been through different/varying degrees of the “racing” life and some may need more understanding and patience than others, they are all different! 🙂 I hope to one day adopt one, they are just so so sweet!

    2. You’re welcome too, Zak! I love your approach to training. There’s lot’s of people out there with varying methods, but yours I think is fool proof, direct, easy for the dog and owner and just, faultless! Rather than needing a ‘personal meeting’ with the trainer, you’ve helped so many which can’t afford it with great vids. You’ve definitely taught me how to do things quicker. My dog is so relaxed and really doesn’t need any training but he might like to finally learn “paw” just for fun! He was from a dear, lovely family that were facing a crisis and needed to move house. I prob can’t buy your book here in the UK…but, I can make a donation.

  3. my 15 week old puppy is fully house trained and knows how to sit, stay, paw and high five on command! thanks for your videos and the book

    1. Same! I’ve been watching Zak and training my Mini Aussie. She’s good so far except for walks and socializing. She loves to tug on the leash, stray to the side, jumps on other dogs but runs from and is terrified of other people. Get’s soo tiring walking her.

    2. Chelsey Evans Wow. You didn’t even go to obedience school and your puppy can do all that that’s amazing this CHANNEL must be really good.

    3. Bohemian Books I have a springer spaniel crossed with a Jack Russel BUT he does not listen to me when I m walking with him I gp to a DOG school BUT iT just does not seem to work does anyone have tips

  4. With your upcoming video about “pit bulls” please discuss how that is NOT a Breed of dog but a group or types of breeds and how different they can actually be. Being in a city I have to constantly deal with how people assume it is a breed and they are all the same and act the same, obviously with the aggression myth along with it. It is so bad to the point of breeds blacklisted from apartments “Pit Bull” is listed as a BREED and any dog with even a hint of that adorable face gets rejected.

    1. They are a breed of dog. There’s the American pit bull terrier, the American Staffordshire terrier and the American bully. The last two are not pit bulls. They were bred from pit bulls by people who wanted to reduce aggression, but keep the look.

    2. KatGaming 232 ikr, pitbulls are super cute, people think their bad because some train them to be guard dogs. But I love pitbulls.

  5. How to choose a dog….
    1. Want a Beagle
    2. Read about beagles
    3. See how hard it is to have a Beagle
    4. Hear everyone tell how hard it is to have a Beagle
    5. See videos about beagles destroying everything
    6. Buy a Beagle

    1. xsoraya♥♥ Yes, every time you buy a dog, you kill another. why? cause the dog you could have adopted at the shelter, IS BEING PUT TO SLEEP CAUSE HE DIDNT GET ADOPTED.

  6. The second dog seemed soooo skinny. Was she just introduced to the shelter and are they still trying to get her to a healthy weight?

    1. Better than all the obese dogs. Dogs are getting as fat as the owners. Thin is healthier that fat.

  7. I’m not really a fan of pit bulls (had my fair share of bad experiences in the past with them) but Mason is so gorgeous, his eyes are stunning!

    1. I had a pitbull/lab mix… And it was so sweet. It never hurt anyone (on purpose, of course) he just loved everyone. My friend also has 5 pitbulls and they’re awesome!

    2. That was the owner fault not the dogs and 10 people I know who grew up with “dangrous” dogs really 11 because me to you should be a fan of pitbulls

    3. I am not a fan of them either. I also have had a bad experience with them but I definitely have to agree that Mason is adorable. 🙂

    1. Freya East Now that you mentioned that it annoys me so much, I will never see his videos the same again.

    1. kaitlyn chan you can do it! My mom also challenged me to be 1st or 2nd honors for my school recognotion day and I did it now she is buying me a dog!😊

  8. My school had a fundraiser for our local animal shelter, and we raised over two hundred dollars in one day. Our city is super tiny you could call it a big town so it’s a huge achievement

    1. Zak George’s Dog Training rEvolution I had no clue you lived in southern louisiana, I got my pit boxer mix at the same shelter that u were at

  9. How I choose a dog…
    #1- I want a chihuahua
#2- see videos on how annoying it is when they bark
#3- see videos on how cute they are
    #4- read about chihuahuas
    #5- buys a chihuahua
This is true I have a chihuahua and she barks at like anything even a dog or doorbell on tv but she is adorable and kinda like a guard dog that gives warnings
