    1. Congrats girl !! Gonna get one in a months time. I’m really nervous though because I live in an apartment and the street dogs around our building are too rough .

  1. I’m getting my first puppy in a month: I’ve basically binge watched all of your videos in one day

  2. The best place to get a new puppy is at a shelter or breeder right? But how do you find trustworthy shelters and breeders? Can you just “google it”? What are some key factors to make sure you aren’t buying from “puppy farms” or “puppy mills”?

    1. A. T. WHY do you hate to say it? Shelter puppies are in more need than breeders unless said puppy breeder is a puppy mill. I got my puppy from the buffalo animal shelter for 80 bucks. My other dog from the same place for 70

    2. Yes that’s what I said that sometimes the puppies at puppy mills need saving too because puppymill breeders won’t hesitate to destroy dogs that don’t sell. BTW I’m from the bay area and the adoption fee for a puppy is $200 and other places charge 250 or even 300 no joke.

    3. A. T. Dangggg! Well, people are disgusting. I’ve even signed countless petitions to help stop it and made my own! Almost all of my pets are shelter animals except for one dog and the horses and fish but shelter animals are SO loving! I have 2 dogs, and a cat from shelters. What are ur shelter animals if u have any??

  3. “No, this isn’t a chew toy. We’re gonna talk about toys just no no…” I don’t know why but I couldn’t stop laughing XD

  4. didn’t decide to get a puppy, but got one anyway. Puppy needed a home after I rescued it from a mud filled ditch, his ribs showing. Well then, I didn’t want a puppy, but this puppy is gonna get the best damn life and home I can give him!

    1. w0t? How did you decide not to get a puppy and got one anyway. You obviously made a decision to keep the puppy. Sorry if that sounded rude it didn’t mean to. Anyway good luck and I’m glad you decided to keep the puppy. 🙂

    2. Acolyte of Torbjörn and you’re gonna find out that that dog will give you more than you can ever give them!!!!

  5. IMO, if you have extra space include the number of your dogs emergency contact. That way if you don’t/can’t answer (for instance if your phone is dead after a full night of searching for your puppy), you have someone else who can. Also, if you live an apartment complex, or nowhere to keep the dog, consider asking a friend who has a fenced yard if you can put their address on the tag! That way if you aren’t home when they bring the dog back, they have somewhere to leave him. My dog and my pup both have their godmother’s number on their tag in addition to mine, and my parents address since I have no fenced yard. Just be sure to confirm with whoever’s information is on your dogs tag, that they are okay with it! That also insures that when someone calls them about finding a husky roaming around, they won’t tell the person they have the wrong number!

  6. i have been wanting a dog for 10 years. it was not possible since we lived in an apartment, and we did not have a yard. but when we moved to our first house with a backyard i was more insistent on getting a dog. 3 years later my husband surprised me with a great Pyrenees puppy. i admit i cried because i finally had my dog. well we have had him for a month now he is 3 monthes old. and he (koda) has changed me for the better. he is incredibly smart and a big clunky love bug. he is so big that i often forget just how young he still is. so when i get fustrated i stand back take a breathe and its all ok. because he is so young and an awesome pupster.

    1. Diya Mehta i saw that video the other day. I just happened to stumble across it. And only wa t ched it because it was a Pyrenees named koda.😄

    2. Mea Decker I started crying when I was bought a dog. He is incredibly frustrating and hard to take care of especially because the responsibility is all on me. But I don’t regret it, he’s a great and intelligent dog, he just needs more time.

    3. My dad had a Great Pyrenees when he was a teenager. He’s told me many times that she was his favorite dog. Her name was Shasta and my dad also told me that Shasta’s mom killed a stray dog because it ran towards the owners kids while they were playing in the yard 😁
